* All ranches are located within a two hour drive from San Antonio. The nearest airport is in San Antonio.
*All hunts include meals and lodging.
*Alcoholic beverages are permitted, but not provided. You are welcome to bring your choice of beverage.
*All hunts are one-on-one guided. Guides work hard for their hunters and will do their best to help you get the buck you want and have an enjoyable hunting experience. If you are pleased with your guide, tipping is acceptable and greatly appreciated.
*Hunting techniques vary and include methods such as box blinds, food plots, & rattling.
*Upon arriving, all hunters will shoot their guns at the ranch to ensure that scopes are on target. This will account for any shifting that occurred during travel.
*Every effort will be made to ensure a good shot. However, if a less than perfect shot is made and evidence is present that the animal has been hit, then the buck is considered taken. Every effort will be made to find the animal.
*Texas law requires all hunters to have a hunting license. If you are not a Texas resident, then you will need to purchase a Non-resident General Hunting License. The cost of this license for the past several years has been $300.00. You may purchase this at any Wal-Mart or at most grocery retailers in South Texas. You may also purchase a license on-line at the following web-site: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/business/licenses/online_sales/. If you choose to purchase on-line, make sure the license you are purchasing is for the 2010-2011 hunting season.
*The ranches have various species of poisonous snakes. Snake boots will assist you in having a safe hunt. They are not required, but if you have them you may want to bring them.
